What are some types of Mexican arts, dances, and different types of Mexican food?
I'm doing a project in Spanish Class about Latin American Countries and the country I was assigned to was Mexico. I need some websites' links to information about Mexican arts (famous paintings, painters, poets, writers, music etc.), Mexican dishes, and different Mexican Dances. Or just what are different types of dishes served in Mexico, dances, and Mexican arts?
Freida Kahlo was a very famous Mexican painter from Coyoacán in the early to mid 1900s. She was a communist and a very strong female figure during her time. My favorite mexican dishes are Empanadas y frijoles, and Puerco con salsa verde. Churros and Flan are good desserts. They have so many dances!! Salsa, Reggaeton, the traditional hat dance (to the song 'sarape tapatio') and Flamenco (adopted from Spain). My favorite is the father-daughter dance at a girl's quinceanera (15th b-day).
